Since it started in 1963, the Portsmouth Jumbo Day has grown to become one of the south coast's largest one day magic events. With magic dealers selling their latest products, it is also known throughout the country as the place to sell unwanted props and tricks and the place to discover a long lost magic treasure!
More than fifty years later, it now takes over the entire Buckland Community Centre in Portsmouth, and features the sale of new and used magic (from dealers and regular sellers), lectures galore with a star lecture, a Magic Auction, the Southern Magician of the Year in association with PropDog all topped off with a professionally managed gala show.
It really has become a day packed with magic.

Parking can be quite a struggle at Jumbo Day. Please note that if you are coming along later a local school The Flying Bull Academy will be opening their car park from 10:00am. To access this once you turn into Gamble Road take the first right into Garfield Road and then turn left on Centaur Street and follow it to the end. The postcode is PO2 7BJ.
Further car parking is off Hanway Road which is about 5 minutes walk away. To access this drive past the Buckland Centre and turn left on Stirling Street and then right into Washington Road. Hanway Road will be on your right and as you drive along here you should see the car parking on your left.
